In short

  • In getquin, the IRR, the TWR, the benchmark comparison, the sector and country breakdown and the dividend forecast are paid features; in MyPortfolio they are free.
  • getquin is better if you want your portfolio to update itself from your bank or broker, a native mobile app, an investor community or real estate and other assets in your net worth.
  • MyPortfolio is better if you want risk metrics, several benchmarks at once, Spanish funds with their transfers or to export your transactions, without paying.
  • To move your portfolio, upload your broker statement or a few screenshots to MyPortfolio: the AI import reads them and you review every transaction before saving it.

What is free in getquin and what is free in MyPortfolio?

The main difference is which figures you can see without paying. getquin, made by QUIN Technologies GmbH (Berlin), has a free plan and paid plans. In Spain, inside the app, Premium costs €6.99 a month or €49.99 a year, with occasional promotions, and Wealth, which adds financial planning, goals and unlimited AI chat, costs €89.99 a year and is billed yearly only. In Germany, according to its website, Premium costs €89.99 a year and Wealth €149.99 a year: prices vary by country.

MyPortfolio is free and has no paid plans. Prices and features checked on 8 October 2026, with a Spanish account in the getquin app and on its website.

With a free getquin account, these appear locked: the gain or loss of each position by period, the IRR, the TWR, the benchmark comparison, the breakdown by sector, region and country (and its ETF "DeepDive"), the dividend calendar and forecast, and the AI portfolio analysis. The table sums up what can be compared.

Where is getquin better?

Automatic sync. getquin connects to more than 2,000 banks and brokers and your portfolio updates itself. In Spain, for example, it does so through Flanks, with providers such as Trade Republic, DEGIRO, Interactive Brokers, XTB, Revolut, eToro or Trading 212, among others. MyPortfolio does not connect to your broker: you upload your transactions. Both import files (PDF, Excel, CSV or screenshots): getquin with templates and, when it does not recognise the file, with AI; MyPortfolio with AI and a review before saving.

A native app. getquin is on the web, iOS and Android. MyPortfolio is a web app you can install on your phone and that sends notifications, but it is not in the app stores.

Community. getquin has a feed, a forum for each asset, profiles with followers and the portfolios of famous investors. If you like reading what other investors do with each stock, that is its strong point.

Your whole net worth. In getquin you can add cash, debts and alternative assets such as real estate, art, cars or P2P loans to see your net worth. MyPortfolio focuses on your investment portfolio.

Where is MyPortfolio better?

Risk metrics, for free. Besides the TWR, the MWR and the IRR, MyPortfolio calculates volatility, the Sharpe ratio and the maximum drawdown with the dates of the fall. We did not find them in getquin, either in the free plan or in the paid ones.

Benchmarks. You compare your portfolio with several indices at once, with or without dividends, from the same day. In getquin, Premium lets you compare it with one.

Spanish funds. Funds come with Rankia data, such as their risk level and how many investors hold them, and you can record fund-to-fund transfers with their tax cost and holding period. The breakdown by asset type, sector and country looks inside your funds, and you can set a target portfolio and see how far you drift from it.

Your data. You download your transactions and positions as CSV whenever you want. getquin does not offer a transaction export.

Beyond tracking: stock market tournaments and leagues with virtual money, including the university league; a connection with AI assistants through an MCP server, from "Connected Apps"; and the app in 13 languages. getquin's is in 5: English, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.

Which one suits you?

If you want to open the app and see your portfolio up to date without doing anything, and your banks and brokers are among the ones it connects, getquin saves you work.

If you want to know how much you have really earned and with how much risk, without a subscription, MyPortfolio gives you the TWR, the IRR, volatility, the Sharpe ratio and the drawdown for free.

If you invest in funds in Spain and make transfers between them, MyPortfolio is built for it: Rankia data, transfers with their tax cost and a breakdown that looks inside each fund.

If you want to track your whole net worth, including your home or P2P loans, or you prefer a native app and an active community, getquin is a better fit.

If you would rather not give any app access to your broker, MyPortfolio does not ask for it: you import your transactions from a file or a screenshot. And you can use both: one for the day to day and the other to analyse return and risk.

How do you move your portfolio from getquin to MyPortfolio?

getquin does not offer a transaction export, so the most reliable route is to start from your broker, where the original transactions are. With your transaction history, your return is measured from your first purchase; with a screenshot of your positions, you start measuring from today.

  1. Get your transactions

Download your statement or transaction history from your broker as CSV, Excel or PDF. If you do not have it at hand, take screenshots of your positions in getquin or in your broker's app.

  2. Upload them to the import

Create your free account and open the portfolio import. You can upload several files or screenshots at once, or paste the text; the AI recognises the assets, the dates and the transactions.

  3. Review before saving

Before anything is applied you see every transaction it has read: you correct what needs correcting and discard what does not belong.

  4. See your figures

Once saved, MyPortfolio calculates how your portfolio has evolved: TWR, IRR, volatility, Sharpe ratio, drawdown and the comparison with the benchmarks you choose.

Want to see your IRR, Sharpe ratio and drawdown for free?Create your free account and upload your broker statement or a few screenshots: the AI import builds your portfolio and you review every transaction.
